Soccer Sub Tracker

Based on a recent question, a sub issue we had recently, and some inspiration from the broadcast folks at Valparaiso, I built a tool to make tracking soccer subs easier.

Soccer Sub Tracker is a free web app that sends soccer substitutions from the scorer's table to the press box and the PA announcer in real time. To set up a game, you pick the two teams and the app pulls each roster straight from the school's Sidearm or PrestoSports site. The phone at the table joins with a six-character code or a QR scan. During play, the official queues subs by tapping the player coming in and the player going out. When play stops, they tap Execute all and enter the match clock once.

Every screen updates instantly. The press box sees the latest subs in big green and red numbers, along with the full history and print or CSV export. The PA announcer gets a full-screen view with names large enough to read across the booth. There are no accounts and nothing to install, and everything is deleted 72 hours after the game.
